King's Academy

School History

King’s Academy was approved as a Charter School on January 20, 2010 by the City of Milwaukee Common Council. Our school was formerly a Christian school that was founded in August of 1999 by Christ The King Baptist Church.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to prepare our students to become responsible citizens, critical thinkers and life-long learners by providing an integrated literacy program across the curriculum. Our program is aligned with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s standards as well as the state assessment.
